The OS X DMG is currently unavailable - there seems to be an issue with the build box. Working to get a fix for that right now (and thanks to Devon for fixing the OS X build script)

OS X DMG looks mostly good.
I am seeing an exception on startup:
java.io.IOException: Exception in finding browser: com.apple.mrj.MRJFileUtils
at org.geoserver.console.Browser.openUrl(Browser.java:613)
at org.geoserver.console.GeoServerConsole$Frame.started(GeoServerConsole.java:558)
at org.geoserver.console.GeoServerConsole$Frame$7.run(GeoServerConsole.java:527)
It looks like the code that automaticaly opens GeoServer in the browser is broken in the DMG install. The server still starts up fine though, and can be reached from localhost:8080/geoserver.

Hi Torben,
I was checking with Nuno, the issue blocking 1.9.x is also affecting this beta.
If someone is careless (no backup) and unlucky (the issue does not happen to everybody, it’s
an application context loading order draw of the luck) the beta test can result in losing all the
cached layer configurations… which of course could be (pretty) bad.
This is a beta after all, and testers should not expect it to be fully functional or safe,
but we should at least say something… and if we do, less people will dare installing it I’m afraid.

The Windows geoserver-2.10-beta.exe was missing. This occured because the Windows build box had run out of memory. This is now fixed, and geoserver-2.10-beta.exe has been uploaded to ares and sourceforge.
I have done a basic test in a Windows VM, and a default install works fine.
