[Geoserver-devel] GeoServer-BR in Numbers (2009)

Well, I'll pass the numbers on the list Geoserver-BR in the year 2009

- Total subscribers to date: 345
- Members in 2009: 166
- Number of posts in 2009: 1068
- Average number of messages per month: 89

The Brazilian community is growing in large scale, and today many
people are already answering the questions of the community in the
list.

I would like to return to subject site GeoServer-BR community
(http://br.geoserver.org) for believing that this site will help the
community to grow even more.

Someone have a position about this subject?

Best Regards,

Fernando Quadro

I think the site would be great, but I still think the site looks should
respect the GeoServer branding guidelines. In short, we should respect what the PSC voted
with GSIP 26:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GSIP+26+-+New+GeoServer+Branding
and
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GSIP+26+-+New+GeoServer+Branding

So at the very least don't change anything in the GeoServer logo.

Cheers
Andrea

Andrea,

No problem, the site can continue with the same GeoServer logo,
without any changes. The most important are the information and the
manuals (GEOS-3749) in Portuguese to the community.

For me the site can be the same, with the difference being in Portuguese.

Best Regards,

Fernando Quadro

Hi Fernando,

Congrats on the numbers and thanks for your great role in the Brazillian GEoServer community.

I have indeed not forgotten about setting this up, i have just been so busy lately that it has fell off my plate. I hope get back to this soon this week or on the weekend. I hope by the end of the weekend to have started moving on this.

One thing that would help in the meantime would be for you to translate the main page into Portuguese.
