Release Notes:
Welcome to the Community Schema Branch of GeoServer development. The purpose of this release is to support the use of GeoServer where an XML Schema has been provided (usually by a standards body or government agency). To aid in this significant R&D effort has gone into supporting data manipulation and joins to allow you to tease your data into the required format.
This branch of GeoServer is based on the complex-feature branch of GeoTools. This work is continued in the feature model branch of geotools, although no time line is expressed for completion.
