HI ,
I am working on the Gesoerver version 2.18.0. I added some custom dimensions to the layer I published .
Dimensions are working fine but in the dimension value list there are more than 100 values so I’m looking at defaults but I can’t see an ALL option: no specified → select all of them.
Is there any option available except cql filters ? If not, is there any technical reason why this has not been implemented yet?

Hi,
no particular technical reason I believe… but I don’t find “all” among the valid values for “default” in the
OGC WMS 1.3 specification, Annex C, “Handling multi-dimensional data”. Maybe I just overlooked it,
can you please point me at the page in the spec where that is defined?
If it’s not in the spec, it can still be implemented I guess, but UI and documentation should clearly warn
the administrator that clients might not understand.
A way to get “all” in the current configuration would be to specify a range as the default value,
something like “0/100” for example. If your range covers the expected set of possible values for that dimension,
it will effectively work as an “all”.
