[Geoserver-devel] GeoServer release publish job failing for the last few releases

Hi,
it seems the release job has been failing for the past few releases.
Not a massive failure, it does the deploy and upload, but at the very end I believe
it’s trying to tag the release in github, and this does not work:

sent 41243650 bytes received 563 bytes 5499228.40 bytes/sec
total size is 41236693 speedup is 1.00
fatal: remote error:
  You can't push to git://[github.com/geoserver/geoserver.git](http://github.com/geoserver/geoserver.git)
  Use [https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver.git](https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver.git)
Build step 'Execute shell' marked build as failure
Finished: FAILURE

I guess it’s a permission issue, this part would require a password to work right?

Cheers
Andrea

Knowing no specifics, registering an ssh key from the server would work, then no password needed.

Odd… i swear this worked last time. At any rate the origin url reverted back to the normal git one rather than the one i set up with the ssh key. Not sure why. Anyways, pushed tag manually and updated the url.
