Q: When do we want to publish?
Wait for 2.7.3 (see https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/wiki/Release-Schedule) which Simone plans to release for GeoNode.
Do we want GeoServer FOSS4G blog post or is it too late ... why not? Cannot figure out what is where when due to lack of abstracts.
Any other blog posts pending?

- MemoryDataStore concurrent modification problem. Look at gatekeeping the linked hashset with a lock, or fix the test ...

3) Release Schedule

- 2.7.3 Simone has volunteered, no details on timing 
- That 2.8-RC1 is due this week, build this week, announce during foss4g?
- Foss4g is coming early this year so we do not get hit it with our current release schdeule? Should we move release date earlier? Or get out of phase with conference/holiday season
- Kevin backported security fixes for 2.6.5 (thanks!)
- Dave restored Mac release script (thanks)
- Torben retrieved the missing GeoTools 13.2 release tag from ares and pushed it onto GitHub (thanks!) [GEOT-5208]
- Kevin working automating GWC release process; use of github.io pages for website
- Still manual, fixing website, making docs available
Action:
- Jody takes on 2.8-RC1, Andrea takes on 2.8.0 later in the month.
