Green bars not properly representing state?
-------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-3321
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3321
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.7.6
Environment: windows vista, 1.7.6
Reporter: Jonathan
Assignee: Andrea Aime
I'm not entirely sure what the green-bars in the top left are for, I'm guessing they report the state of the server based on http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3319 that I just reported.
See also #3319 and #3320.
I have several layers that require the pyramidplugin, and I also have a mysql datastore set up (though no layers for it).
I notice the following:
Mysql and pyramid plugins NOT installed:
All bars report 87% green, 12% red.
Mysql plugin installed. Pyramids NOT installed:
All bars report 100% green - BUG - many of my WCS layers cannot be served.
Mysql plugin NOT installed. Pyramids installed:
All bars report 87% green, 12% red. - BUG - MySQL has nothing to do with WCS, that bar at least should be 100% green.
both installed - all bars 100% green
------
Also - GeoServer can clearly detect when things are amiss (some of the time ) - is it therefore possible to allow the user to click those bars to get a report as to why X% is red? I'll create this as a seperate feature request if it's not already in.
