[Geoserver-devel] [jira] Created: (GEOS-658) Typos in db2-readme.txt in "DB2 extra"

Typos in db2-readme.txt in "DB2 extra"
--------------------------------------

         Key: GEOS-658
         URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-658
     Project: GeoServer
        Type: Bug

Environment: All
    Reporter: David Adler
Assigned to: dblasby
    Priority: Trivial
     Fix For: 1.3.2

The db2-readme.txt refers to the mysql jars.

I've included the corrected text below:

GEOSERVER 1.3.1+ DATA STORE EXTRAS README

This package contains a DB2 DataStore implementation that is
distributed as a separate plug-in.

Please report any bugs with jira (http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS).

Any other issues can be discussed on the mailing list (http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users).

Contains the following data stores:

INSTALLATION

1. Copy the included gt2-db2 jar to your
GeoServer library directory. In a binary install this is at
   [GEOSERVER_HOME]/server/geoserver/WEB-INF/lib/
In a war install this is [container]/webapps/geoserver/WEB-INF/lib/

2. Copy db2jcc_license_cu.jar and db2jcc.jar from the DB2 instance installation directory
$DB2PATH/java to your GeoServer library directory.

3. Restart GeoServer.

DB2 should now show up as an option in the web admin tool at
Config -> Data -> Stores -> New. Fill out the appropriate params. For more
information see http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/DB2+DataStore

COMPATIBILITY

This jar should work with any version of GeoServer based on GeoTools 2.2.x.
Currently this is anything in 1.3.x above 1.3.1. GeoServer 1.4 should also
be compatible.

Where does this file reside? When I look in the following I see a much older (more obsolete) version
https://svn.codehaus.org/geoserver/trunk/geoserver/ext/db2/README-db2.txt

Oh, I didn't realize we had a place for these jars. Right now it resides on my hard drive, just needed to get it done fast, was going to figure out a place to put them later. I'll commit what I've got in a bit.
