Details:

  • Update the outdated Chinese translations for the web application Wicket UI resources of GeoServer.
  • Improve the resource loader/locator to allow the Chinese translators to edit the i18n resource file in any text editors that support the UTF-8 charset. (Translations for other languages could also share the benifits of the UTF-8 charset which is perfectly compatible with the legacy ASCII encoded resource files.)
  • Convert other resource files from ASCII into UTF-8 to pass some broken unit tests.
