[Geoserver-devel] [jira] (GEOS-5334) Publishing new layers removes namespaces

Dani Baeyens created BugGEOS-5334
Publishing new layers removes namespaces

Issue Type:

BugBug

Affects Versions:

2.2-RC2

Assignee:

Andrea Aime

Created:

Description:

I have two workspaces on geoserver (let’s call them “foo” and “bar”). “foo” is the default workspace. On “foo” I have a layer with some points I request via WFS/GML. Some of the tags on the GML, have the “foo” namespace with its corresponding field. i.e: <foo:SHAPE>

After publishing a new layer on “bar”, when I make a new request to my “foo” points layer, I get tags like: <null:SHAPE>

As a workaround, if I just go to the “foo” workspace configuration and save it (no changes required), GML returns to its correct status.

Environment:

Tomcat 6.0.34 on a Linux box (Amazon EC2 instance)

Project:

GeoServer

Priority:

MinorMinor
