With grayscale GeoTIFFs there is some sort of contrast normalization enabled even if it isn’t in the SLD. This can be seen in the sf:dem layer in the default GS workspace using the “raster” style. The attached screenshot is the sf:dem layer viewed in the layer preview with the default style and tiling turned on. You can see contrast normalization occurring in each tile. |
