[Geoserver-devel] New community module: GeoServer ACL

Hi all,

I’d like to add a new community module for the GeoServer ACL plugin.

The source code for this plugin resides on the geoserver-acl project code base, where it’s tested against the stable, development, and maintenance versions of GeoServer.

This community module hence only packages up the required jars to be installed as usual, and runs a Testcontainers based integration test suite, using the geoservercloud/geoserver-acl Docker image for the dependency version defined in this project’s pom.xml.

Never mind, just realized there’s this old jira ticket for it already https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-10915

So I’ve created this pr: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/7832

Take a look if you’re interested, and consider my previous message as a heads up that the community module is coming.
