[Geoserver-devel] ohloh widgets in about page?

Thought it’d be funny to have the ohloh widgets in the GeoServer about page, see attached.

It’s as simple as shown bellow. May it be a good idea since it’s a long time since we don’t have a users map?

    Have mixed feelings about this.
    This would also end up in GeoServer derivatives, in
    which it would provide wrong information about project statistics
    (derivatives normally have extra code and functionality) and user base counts.

    I normally see this in home pages, which makes me wonder if it would
    not be better to stick it at geoserver.org and/or find a way to integrate it in
    the HTML version of the user guide published on the web site
    (since more people would end up seeing it).

    Anyways, no strong opinion

    I agree… I think geoserver.org would be the appropriate place. Cool stuff though.
