[Geoserver-devel] oscache, geoserver

hi;
i would like to integrate oscache in my geoserver, i modified the featureTypes/…/info.xml files and added the oscache.properties, the jar.
which other files must i modify?

Have you seen this?

I have never actually done this myself but looks like you have to modify
the web.xml file and you should be good to go.

Note that there are much better ways to do caching now. TileCache http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/TileCache+Tutorial is the preferred one. And there has been some good progress on jtilecache - http://code.google.com/p/jtilecache/

Also check out Jon Blower's Jython TileCache: http://www.resc.rdg.ac.uk/twiki/bin/view/Resc/TileCacheAsJavaServlet . In my testing, it performed fairly well, and might be easier than setting up TileCache (depending on your existing setup).
