Hi all,
Thanks all for the opinions and early voting expressed about GSIP 68 -
Introduce GUAVA library as dependency.
I would like to call for formal voting final vote and move the
proposal forward this week, at least there's something else to
discuss. Either will be much appreciated.
The early vote count is:
Justin: +0
Ben: +0
Andrea: +1
Jody: +1
Gabriel +1
Would you please confirm/update the wiki page, or raise any remaining
concern that needs to be discussed?
TIA,
Gabriel

Particular relevant from the developer guide:
Note that a majority of positive votes does not need to be a majority of the full PSC, just a majority of the ‘active’ PSC - defined by those present at an IRC meeting or responding within 4 days on email. PSC members need not sound in on every single motion, but are expected to be active - the section on stepping down details that if a PSC is not active for 2 months they w
So I would say you are probably good to go.

np, thanks Alessio.
So, implementing the proposal is just a matter of adding the
dependency to the root pom.xml.
Any interest in reviewing and applying the following patch as a first
usage of guava?
I'm ok either way, just thought it'd be good to accompany the proposal
with some actual code. But it's ok if it feels risky to touch the
ResourcePool.
Cheers,
Gabriel
