Which reminds me about: https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-9944 - I would like to request that be backported to 2.19.x for the release.

The PR (https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/4791

  • Double checked that the suggested filename was based on the typename (so the default “features” filename is not seen fixing the issue
  • It also introduced the filename format option which is an addition for many output formats (so I understand if it is considered a feature or improvement normally needing a one month cooldown)
