[Geoserver-devel] #roadmap update, July 21, 09

Hi all,

Sorry this is coming out late this week. For future reference those that have a better memory than I do please don't hesitate to send this email. I would like to keep this a weekly habit... unless others think that this is a futile exercise?

* 1.7.6 release date

So we more or less agreed that this was going to happen late this week early next? I think all fixes are in? JIRA says all high priority ones are in.

* 2.0-RC1 release date

Still scheduled for Aug 3, any issues with this? Do we need to move back for any reason?

* 2.0-RC1 issues

The following high priority issues are still open:
,
  - http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2887, jdeolive
    Porting restconfig to trunk

  - http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3253, jdeolive
    Log level is not reflected until restart

Are there any issues for 2.0-RC1 or 2.0.x that we should up the priorty of?

Done, but required some other patches to the core that need discussion. Regardless will be resolved soon.

Have not looked at yet but plan to soon.

Unsurprisingly, things got quite busy as soon as I began the release process, so it is looking like early next week at this point.

It seems that the new cite testing engine requires a more recent checkout of the test sources from the OGC repository than I have in stock. Can someone with access pull a copy for me, or possibly point me to where I can get subversion access?

Cheers,
Mark

Just sent Mark (by private mail) an up to date checkout at revision 2752

Cheers
