[Geoserver-devel] Solr based store community module

Hi,
in the near future we should be developing a geotools datastore to connect to
Solr. The development will require a new community module in GeoTools (the store itself),
and one in GeoServer (the configuration ui and machinery).

The spec we have to work against is a bit long, so instead of putting it all in this mail,
I’ve attached it as a PDF to this mail.

Feedback welcomed

Cheers
Andrea

Nice! I have recently seen some very compelling bechnmarks on the osgeo-discuss list regarding solr. Anyways, didn’t dig too deep into the doc but definitely +1.
