[Geoserver-devel] starting the 2.1-RC1 release

Hi all,

All the changes are in. I am going to start some prep and testing (running cite, etc…) and then I will tag the release and start building the artifacts. Stay tuned.

Release tagged. Trunk open for business again.

Shall we also branch off 2.1.x at this time? Or wait a couple of more RC’s?

+1 to branching 2.1.x, then we can then code on trunk and discuss backports and decide to apply them, as opposed to people having different opinions of how careful to be.
