Hi List,
An minor observation, hopefully not noise - I use the “Excel output format” extension and one of the files that it comes with is stax-api-1.0.1.jar (that’s the version in the 2.5 beta anyway).
However GeoServer distribution already has one of these files in the same location. A comparison of their hashes show’s they’re identical.
So my question - does this file need to be in the Excel extension?

Nope, if its included in the core by default then no need to include it in the extension.
