Hi Brent I see a news posting about modifications to the web site
Cool! Is the 1.4.x docs from GEOSDEV intergrated yet? And are we going
to try and following the documentation guidelines for organization?
I was hoping we could make a bit better use of our resources, and ensure
that GEOSDEV is a) listed and b) used for "protodocs" for RnD branches
and community modules. We also have a bit of a conflict with respect to
our current hand build look and new codehaus access policies.
Note: if we talk to the codehaus people they can export out our websites
for us, allowing TOPP to host this content on a faster server. We were
just able to refresh our uDig confluence license w/ very little trouble.

Do you know how to have codehaus go to an alternate URL? Like http://geotools.org/Downloads ? Ideally I can switch the codehaus now to http://geoserver.org/xxx so that we start using that url and it's much less painful when we switch servers.
I am not sure Chris, we always get close with the geotools site - but I am still sad to see that scripted, add riddled, version being the one we pass around. May want to talk to Paul Ramsey (or find James) as he helped sort out some of these things for us in the past.
