[Geoserver-devel] wikitude support for geoserver

Hi,

We are experimenting with http://www.wikitude.org and geoserver.
As wikitude uses ARML which is based on KML(which is well supported
since 2.x) it would be nice to integrate into geoserver!
Are you open to putting a wikitude extension into official geoserver, if
so we could start
With development based on geoserver.

I guess that what can be done is to create a community module to start.
Then, in time it could become an official extension.

To start off a community module you just need to ask for permission.

Please, anyone, correct me if I am wrong.

Yup, that’s how it works:

  1. ask for community module
  2. get +1 (here is my +1)
  3. not sure if you have to sign the contributor agreement for community space actually
  4. start coding
  5. eventually graduate it to extension (meaning you will be the maintainer of it)
