hello,
am following this tuto to create a map on web with geoserver, GeoEXT, EXTJs, and openlayers here’s the linki downloaded ext 4.2.0, openlayers 2.12 and GeoEXT 1.1, when i try to show the map : //geo.ancfcc/geoserver/www/search/map.html , i get the panel with a black point in the midlle in stead of the map here’s my map.html:

am stuck here, the panel shows up but i stil have problem with the map it doesn’t show i have only one black point in the middle and when i zoom it dissapears, maybe it’s a problem with the WMS because when i try to load the page http://localhost:9090/geoserver/wms am getting this error: in serviceException report: Could not determine geoserver request from http request org.geoserver.platform.AdvancedDispatchFilter$AdvancedDispatchHttpRequest@anonymised.com

Understandable confusion.
The developers list is for developing GeoServer.
The users list is for people who are using GeoServer, i.e. as in your case to build applications.
So yes, the users lists is what you want; it probably has a lot more subscribers too.
