Hi Justin,
I'm wondering what's the actual status of porting WMS to the new dispatching
system. I'd like to clean the module up a bit and get rid of the old servlets
and the like, so if you could give me a quick heads up about how far we
currently are from achieving that that'd be appreciated
regards,
Gabriel
Hi Gabriel,
As far as I know we only have the GetMap operation ported to the new system. The rest have yet to be touched.
Question for you? Are you planning on doing this on 1.7.x? If so I think it might be good to wait until after 1.7.0 is released. 1.7.0-RC1 should be released at the end of this week after which I hope to be calling for a code freeze.

no, 2.0.x would be fine since I have yet to see when to schedule it, but its
certainly something I want to do. I don't think we'll have substantial WMS
changes on 1.7.x other than bugfixing? So yeah, its a bit of cleanup I'd like
to do on trunk only.
thanks for the prompt reply,
Gabriel
