Hi,
The devel list is mostly reserved for Geoserver development. Developers are friendly people and they follow also the users list. If they do not answer soon it means that they are not only friendly but also busy. Via the users list you can meet also friendly users and have better possibility to get an answer soon. Users, even they are friendly, do not always know the answers. Neither did I when I sent an answer for your question when I asked you to test your process with data that you have captured from WFS with a separate call. I still think that it might give some more information about your problem and that would help the developers and advanced users with giving some helpful answer to you.
I compare your request with the example at
http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/extensions/wps/processes.html
I do not see any GetFeatures in your request. Are they supposed to be somewhere inside CDATA or what? Without knowing much about WPS I suppose that the process needs first some raw data before it can start processing.
