Hi,
for those that are curious and/or want a preview of the WPS limits work I have
pushed this branch on my GeoServer GitHub fork (subject to rebase and forced commits,
do not sure for derivative work):

The branch contains already all the backed work, with the ability to setup limits
in the configuration, have them reflect in DescribeProcess as possible,
and get applied during Execute too.
What’s missing at the moment is the UI.
A bit of a interesting detail, the limits are pluggable and based on the Spring Validator
interface, this should allow people interested in a higher control to add extra
validators in the mix, although only the validators currently implemented can be
reflected fully at the DescribeProcess output level, and thus be advertised to the clients.
They are, in order, the maximum size of complex inputs, the range for comparable values,
the multiplicity for repeatable inputs.
Feedback welcomed (in case the vacations are leaving you bored :-p )
