Geoserver print-lib 2.4 not synced with version 2.3 or 2.5

Hi,

I upgraded to geoserver 2.28.4, using printing extension, that brings “print-lib-2.4-SNAPSHOT.jar”.

I was expecting that print version 2.4 brings the code changes that I contributed on version 2.3 and main:

Can someone sync that PR into version 2.4 please? So in the next geoserver version 2.x brings that updated.

Make a pull request yourself and let us know when it’s there (the mapfish print v2 project is basically in maintenance mode, no one might be checking the PRs for a long time).

I have verified the PR re-aligns the code of the 2.4.x branch with main and 2.3.x and merged.
