Hi,
I am trying to add a oracle spatial layer to geoserver. I have installed the
required plugins, and started the geoserver. on submit(datasource ->new): On
creating the oracle datasource with the required fields like,
SID,Username, passwrd etc, I get the error message as "Connection Parameters
are invalid" .
What could be the reason for it, I am using geoserver1.6-beta and
gt2-oracle-spatial-2.4-RC0.jar(tried with gt2-oracle-spatial-2.3.1.jar also)
Thanks,

Hello,
I do the same, but it works fine.
Maybe you can use to give your database user resource role in the oracle.

Hum, in fact we had a user report saying the ojdbc14.jar we're
distributing did not work for him:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1662
May it be a version mismatch between the jdbc driver and the oracle
version? What if you try the jdbc driver that comes with your oracle
install?
Cheers
Andrea
Thanks,
After changing the ojdbc14.jar it is connecting.
