[Geoserver-users] CQL Filter with date type?

Hi all,
I use Geoserver 1.5.3, Postgres 8.3 and PostGIS 1.3.3.
I use CQL Filter to show or hidden some filter. The filter work well with field which have type is varchar or numeric.
When I filter with a date field, it return a blank map, there is no feature. My syntax is OK. ex:

http://localhost:8080/geoserver/wms?bbox=-106.50754423141483,31.15167484283446,27.25649709701543,53.13852825164794&styles=&Format=application/openlayers&request=GetMap&layers=shredit:act&width=800&height=300&srs=EPSG:4326&cql_Filter=LAST_REACH%20before%202000-01-01T00:03:20Z

Type of LAST_REACH is date

ilter=LAST_REACH%20before%202000-01-01T00:03:20Z

The filter syntax is valid for CQL language.

Hi Toan,

GeoServer 1.5.3 is a bit out dated... 1.7.0 is currently the stable version. And in particualr with regard to handling dates much work has been done. You may want to try a newer version of GeoServer to see if the issue is fixed. If not we can look into it deeper.

I know GeoServer 1.5.3 is out of date.
When I try update to 1.6.4, it make my program some error, so I still use GeoServer 1.5.3.
OK, I will try with GeoServer 1.7.0. And report to you.
