[Geoserver-users] Feature Types and Layers in the REST API

Hi,

The mapping between Feature Types and Layers - is it 1:1? (It looks so, since when I "Publish again" a layer, the new Feature type is created, but is it always like that?)

When I create a Feature Type through POST, is the corresponding Layer also created? (POST Layer should return 405 according to the doc.)
