Andrea,
Now that we have the proper GeoCSS syntax, the CSS plugin for GeoServer 2.8.2 is not generating an equivalent SLD…
- {geometry: [isometric(geom, 10)]; fill: #000; }
gives me:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
sld:NamedLayer
sld:NameDefault Styler</sld:Name>
sld:UserStyle
sld:NameDefault Styler</sld:Name>
sld:FeatureTypeStyle
sld:Rule
sld:PolygonSymbolizer
sld:Fill
<sld:CssParameter name=“fill”>#000000</sld:CssParameter>
</sld:Fill>
</sld:PolygonSymbolizer>
sld:PolygonSymbolizer
sld:Fill
<sld:CssParameter name=“fill”>#330000</sld:CssParameter>
</sld:Fill>
</sld:PolygonSymbolizer>
</sld:Rule>
<sld:VendorOption name=“ruleEvaluation”>first</sld:VendorOption>
</sld:FeatureTypeStyle>
</sld:UserStyle>
</sld:NamedLayer>
</sld:StyledLayerDescriptor>
No filter functions… Any clues?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Edward

Sorry, not fully awake, of course, square brackets to use an expression:
- {geometry: [isometric(geom, 10)]; }
Cheers

Andrea,
Here’s the examples showing square brackets:
OpenStreetMap Philippines

David Winslow
http://sourceforge.net/p/geoserver/mailman/message/27357107/
Without brackets didn’t work either:
- {geometry: isometric(geom,10); fill: #000;}
Somehow, the word ‘geometry’ shows up in red in the editor too…?
Regards,
Edward

Hi there,
Trying to figure out how to get the geometric filter functions working in GeoCSS with GeoServer 2.8.2… Have come across
{geometry: offset[(geom,10,-10)];}
and tried
{geometry: isometric[geom,10];}
The resulting SLD simply shows a straightforward PolygonSymbolizer without any Geometry functions. Any suggestions welcome!
Err… I don’t remember square parenthesis in the syntax… have you tried:
{geometry: isometric(geom,10);}
Cheers
Andrea
