The GeoServer team is happy to announce the release of GeoServer 2.25.1.

The release is available for download from: http://geoserver.org/release/2.25.1/

GeoServer 2.25.1 is the next stable release of GeoServer.

  • This release includes patches for security vulnerabilities and is a recommended update for production system.

  • The Raster Attribute Table Extension has graduated and is now available for general use.

  • PostGIS GML performance has been restored (it was counting multiple times which was slow)

  • The about page now only displays build information when logged in

  • There are now environmental variables to control module status page listing of system environment and java properties

  • This release is made in conjunction with GeoTools 31.1

I should note that the PostGIS performance was fine on Java 11.
It was only impacted on Java 17 and Java 21 (and is now fixed for both).
