[Geoserver-users] geoserver 2.7.0 class not found exception

Hi,

If I try to preview a layer i get the following exception:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.geotools.gce.imagemosaic.Utils
Could not initialize class org.geotools.gce.imagemosaic.Utils
Details:
org.geoserver.platform.ServiceException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.geotools.gce.imagemosaic.Utils
at org.geoserver.ows.Dispatcher.exception(Dispatcher.java:1655)
at org.geoserver.ows.Dispatcher.handleRequestInternal(Dispatcher.java:290)
at org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.AbstractController.handleRequest(AbstractController.java:153)
at org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.SimpleControllerHandlerAdapter.handle(SimpleControllerHandlerAdapter.java:48)

Mosaics do display fine here, and that class exists... can you give us some
more information about your environment?

Hi,

I tested with

Windows 2008 R2 64bit
Java 1.7.0_45 64bit
Apache tomcat 8.0.9 (running as service and in a console window)
gdal support for mrsid added
