[Geoserver-users] Geoserver giving pink tiles after getting to work with pgbouncer

I have a geoserver map that is using a postgres database to get all the data
to draw the map.

I then had to install pgbouncer to get it allow more people to be abe to use
it. When I did not use pgbouncer I could only get one person to browse the
map.

I managed to get geoserver to read pgbouncer instead of getting it to read
postgres directly but now I seem to be getting pink tiles. On occasion it
would be the whole map and other times it would be just parts of the map.

Can anyone please help any ideas on how I solve this problem now?

I don't understand what do you mean here. Only one person?
Can you be more specific? This statemet looks a bit strange to me

It is hard to tell. Generally speaking we would need to know more
about what you are doing?

- geoserver version
- pg versione
- which container
- which os
- some info on the data

That said, you can raise the logging level in GeoServer and inspect
which queries are failing and why. You can also resend them via
pgadmin or psql in order
to check if it is GeoServer or PG that is failing to respond.

I think the most common reason to get pink is, that one or more layers do not load properly. The reason may be different projection or some other trouble with the layer. I just had this pink problem with my javascript-based app, and noticed that one of the WMS-layers were actually missing due to wrong configuration.
