Hi,
We have a deployment of Geoserver 2.1 on weblogic and control flow module extension is not installed on it. Now the web client is sending quite a high number of WMS requests to the Geoserver. In the logs I see the messages as pasted below with the requests starting with Request: getServiceInfo. The client is sending all requests in parallel but there is a big time gap(~1 min) between the first and the last “Request: getServiceInfo” in the log. As a result the impage rendering on the client is taking over one minute. I would like to know:

The time mentioned against each Request: getServiceInfo message is the timestamp when GeoServer is receiving the request or starting to processing them?

By default, can GeoServer receive and hold back the requests in a queue/memory and then slowly process them? We are seeing five Request: getServiceInfo messages at a time. Which parameter is controlling that five requests will be processed at a time?
