I was wondering if there was any specific order that results are returned in getfeatureinfo. Is this proximity based, or some other ordering? It doesn’t seem to be proximity, based on the results I’m seeing, but I wasn’t sure what it was doing or if there was some way for me to change the order of the results returned. Thanks…

There is no defined order afaik, whatever the underlying datastore decides to give the features back in. We do support the notion of sorting to a degree, but it is not something that has been standardly implemented across datastores. And it is not exposed via the GetFeatureInfo request. Although a format_options parameter would be relatively easy. Feel free to open an feature request in the bug tracker.
