[Geoserver-users] Improved Raster rendering, switch to enable JAI rendering

Hi,

At FOSS4G there was mention of a new switch to enable direct raster rendering path with JAI. I don’t think the name of the switch was mentioned, could you enlighten me?

Direct raster rendering is enabled by default on all 2.1.x releases, there is
a system property that can be used to turn it off.
-Dorg.geoserver.render.raster.direct.disable=true

I don't quite remember what the story is on 2.0.x, haven't used it in
a long time

2.0.x has no JAI raster direct rendering path support.
