[Geoserver-users] is it possible to 'hide' layers from CSW interface

Testing the CSW interface of Geoserver here.
Tip: if you want to use MetaSearch plugin (QGIS) to query your
Geoserver, put % around your searchwords: instead of search for
"roads" do "%roads%" (from https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-5936)

So I can query from QGIS my geoserver for keywords title etc etc.

But now: how do I 'hide' a layer from being found.

It would be nice if there was some 'switch', so this (temporary?) layer
does not show up in the CSW results.

Is this possible?

Richard Duivenvoorde

Sounds like a feature request to me; disable csw the same way you can disable wfs and wms on layers.

Is the layer in question marked as non advertised? If so, and it still
shows up in the results, then I'd call it a bug
