How can I find more recent italian shapefiles? Are these free?

Sites that have advised me haven't data of the new Italian provinces (es:
Fermo , Prato ....).
You advise me other sites?

to the gfoss mailing list, they know a lot more than
me about italian data.

Sorry no. I usually play with USA and Canada free data.
Frankly, finding free italian data is hard
to start with, if you happen to need them for commercial
work, or recently updated, then it's close to impossible.
Your best bet is to subscribe to the italian gfoss mailing
list and ask there, they may know of other sites.
