Dear all,
I have an Image Mosaic data store that gathers a great deal of ortophotomaps comprising several Gb of data. The layer service is working perfectly but it is easy to have a request that exceeds the maximum rendering time. Can requests be limited by scale in some way? Say, refuse all request below a certain scale? Or requesting an area over a certain limit?
Thank you,
Luís
P.S.: I’m using Geoserver 2.0.0
Hi Luìs,
I would take a look on the SLD Cookbook 1 and play with ScaleDenominators to check if this may help you.
(If you need, you can also check the OGC SLD specification at 2).
Hope other users may provide you better tips about this topic.
Finally, I would also suggest to move to a more recent Geoserver version which provides better management of ImageMosaics.
Cheers,
Daniele
