Hi everyone,
I am new of geoserver. I am trying to migrate from Mapserver to Geoserver.
So my problem is this:
I have a lot of single GIF images with the .wld files and I have a shapefile for that.
In Mapserver I load these raster images easly usinf mapfile.
How I can handle these in Geoserver?
Does Geoserver support the GIF images with .wld files ?
Does Geoserver able to read the shapefile and , of course the dbf file, to render my images?

Ciao Antonio,
yeah, the geoserver should be able to handle that dataset as an imagemosaic.
We are just releasing a new version where it should be possible to
point and shoot geoserver to a directory of files and serve them as a
mosaic without further configuration.
I would kindly ask you to wait a few days so that you could try this
new functionality which should make your life easier (crossing fingers
:-)).
