I’m new to GeoServer and was wondering if it’s possible to set up multiple distinct WMS and WFS services. At the moment I have all my data served through one service, but ideally I want to be able to split this up into logical services.
I guess I’m expecting GeoServer to work in a similar way to ArcGIS Server, where I can set up several distinct WMS services that can be differentiated by the servicename in the WMS request.
Anyone know how to do achieve this in GeoServer?

Unfortunately GeoServer does not yet have that capability but it is being worked on. Currently I believe it is targted at the 2.1 release but others should be able to better comment on that.
