Hi All,
I am new to GeoServer. By going through documentation, I created a sample web application with Openlayers - GeoServer - PostGIS.
I am using Tomcat as a service and placed Web Application war file and GeoServer.war. It is working fine, but the system became very slow and getting OutofMemory issue in Eclipse. Sometimes my tomcat is getting stopped.
Please suggest me whether I am following correct architecture of not.
Here are the details:
Frontend: JSP and Openlayers
Controller: Struts2 with Tilesframework
Database: PostGIS
Thanks
SD
I would say you need to allocate lots more memory to Tomcat - default settings are useless. Tomcat performance guides are good place to start. Google for tomcat performance.
