Hi,
I'm pretty new to GIS in general, and very new to geoserver. I have a set
of points that I want to display on top of a raster image. I have got the
points to display in the map preview, but I cannot get the raster to
display. I have downloaded and installed the RC2-WCS experimental bit and
got that installed. I have then created a new coverage store but when I try
and create a new coverage within it I cannot get to the page to input any
information. I just get this:
HTTP ERROR: 500 Internal Server Error
RequestURI=/geoserver/config/data/coverageNewSubmit.do
So I have two questions:
-1- Is it possible to display the points and the raster as layers? If so am
I going about it the right way?
-2- Is there any good, readable, tutorials out there that can help me?
Thanks,
Sparrott

Yes, it is possible. See the 1st example in the gallery:

"Good" and "readable" can be very subjective... I have confidence
that you will find good info by searching the list and the wiki.
As far as the error, the console output should help diagnose the
problem, if you don't mind posting it to the list.
