Is possible to restrict access to the geoserver’s web administrative interface for some users geoserver created?

Yes this is one of the security roles that you can grant a user, often useful to allow a “team lead” to manage the publication of team data.

I want to allow a user login for WebGIS aplication , but not have access through the administrative interface geoserver

Hi Pablo

In the config.xml you sent me in another thread I see that you use the default role service. Only users having the role ADMIN have access to the administrator GUI. I think you have to configure the default role service and add this role to your administrator (the default admin is called “admin”).
