Hi everybody
I have been looking at the roadmap for Geoserver 2.1 and was wondering if the feature of “Storing the catalog in a relational database” like Postgresql/PostGIS is going to be available in the final release of GeoServer 2.1?

Hi Esben,
It will be present in some shape or form for geoserver 2.1. There has been some recent work to bring the work into a community module called “dbconfig”. My hope is to get enough time to work on it to make it stable enough to include as a proper extension for 2.1. But that really depends on when 2.1 will be released. But in the least it will still be available as a community module.
