Hi,
I have geoserver on suse linux. If I use the font Arial the size does not seem to have any effect if change it to 8 or 10 or 9, but if I choose the font-family as Serif, changing the size shows effect. Why does this happen, any idea, where does geoserver picks fonts from ?

GeoServer uses whatever fonts Java knows about. So if you have some fonts you want to use, you will first have to make sure Java is already using them.
