Hi Andrea,
Sorry about that - we've moved geoserver to a virtual host and the
external DNS is not configured yet. I overlooked it when I posted (it
works for me behind the firewall).
It is possible to search by AODC feature type name (try clicking this
and typing 'coast' in the search box) - thanks for your feedback though
- I need to do more work on it but it's serving its purpose for us right
now so I've shoved it to the bottom of my list of things to do!
Hopefully our DNS will be fixed soon!
Cheers
Miles

could not find much because I did not know what terms to use for the
search. When one does not know what to look for, a
directory based browsing is easier to deal with, at least to
figure out naming conventions. Sometimes you can use a symbol
because it seems to fit with current need, despite the fact
that its meaning in the database was something totally
unrelated with the usage you want to make of it.Also, it seems the Geoserver behind symbol preview generation
is not doing its work, request times out and I get the
alternative text instead of an image.Cheers
Andrea
