is there a way to stop the success/fail messages for geoserver after you wfs-t?
I am not sure what you mean by stop the messages... do you mean
not output anything at all?

Hmmm... not really. Transaction does not support the notion of an output
format. What is our rationale for not wanting the failure/success message?
