I installed Geoserver 2.1 with Apache as web archieve. when i click "add new
store" and click browse button to add a new shapefile, then i got this

Looks like it's the same error as http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4422

Are you on Windows as well?
If so I suggest you try out a nightly build and report back:

Yes, its same error, and i am using windows web server 2008 R2. From this
link
http://gridlock.opengeo.org/geoserver/2.1.x/geoserver-2.1.x-latest-bin.zip
I got Geoserver's zip file. But as you know, i want geoserver.war file for
using it with Apache tomcate.

Can you send me Geoserver 2.1.x's .war file?

Great!

It works perfect now.

I have one more question to you. my Geoserver is installed at server
192.168.33.123 where as OL web application is hosted at different server
172.30.100.34

when i run my web page from outside of production environment, i noted the
layers does not show over google map. I search and come to know that it will
be solved by using some sort of proxy. Can you please tell me which proxy
should i use and how and where i use it ?

Thanks
